Pet First Aid Adventures is a kid-friendly pet safety and first aid learning program designed for children ages 8–11. It helps young animal lovers recognize common pet emergencies, understand what to do first, and practice safe, calm responses while an adult takes over. The lessons are age-appropriate, practical, and built to keep kids engaged while reinforcing responsible pet care.
The program includes a virtual pet first aid training course designed specifically for children ages 8–11, along with a textbook, interactive activity book, and a facilitator guide for parents or educators. Each component is designed to make learning about pet first aid approachable, engaging, and easy to understand. Families and educators also receive access to a dedicated online resource center to support continued learning.
Families who wish to add a hands-on component may also choose to include a Deluxe Pet First Aid Kit for home use. The kit provides common pet first aid supplies and can be used as a practical teaching tool to help children become familiar with basic items under adult supervision. This add-on is optional and not required to complete the program.
Designed specifically for children, the main textbook uses clear language and illustrations to introduce the basics of pet care and first aid in a way that is easy to understand. The companion activity book reinforces learning through puzzles, games, and hands-on activities that help children retain key safety concepts while having fun.
The included parent and educator facilitator guide provides clear, practical guidance on how to support a child’s learning experience. It includes discussion prompts, activity suggestions, and safety reminders to help adults reinforce lessons and answer questions, without requiring any prior medical or teaching background.
