Animal Care and Wellness Institute is an educational division of Pet Emergency Academy LLC. Emergency care, CPR, first aid, emergency response training, certification programs, and continuing education courses awarding CEU for veterinary and animal professionals are developed, administered, and issued exclusively by Pet Emergency Academy LLC. Accreditation, certification, and continuing education approval apply only to courses specifically designated and issued under Pet Emergency Academy LLC.

Co-Owners Greg and Amy D'Andrea
Amy D’Andrea is a credentialed veterinary technician with over 30 years of experience in clinical practice and veterinary technology education. She leads curriculum development and ensures that all educational content reflects responsible, ethical, and evidence-informed animal care principles.
Greg D’Andrea co-leads daily operations, partnerships, and organizational strategy across both entities, supporting learners from enrollment through course completion. Based in Las Vegas, Greg and Amy are proud adopters of their shelter dog, Viva, and remain deeply committed to creating practical, accessible education that supports pet owners, rescues and shelters, schools, and pet industry professionals in improving animal care and safety outcomes.
